Legal Student

We are currently looking for a Legal Student to join us in CIP to build value that matters in renewable energy infrastructure investment.

 

As a Legal Student (internally called Analyst), you will contribute to providing advice and assistance relating to legal structuring on current and future funds and investments and assist CIP with various kinds of ad hoc legal queries.

 

You will work closely together with our highly experienced legal team in an international and dynamic environment. You will get the opportunity to build a strong commercial and contractual understanding of corporate and fund structures as well as renewable energy and infrastructure.

 

We will constantly seek to challenge and inspire you, while focusing on your learning and personal development. You will have an opportunity to participate in our CIP Academy which consists of a variety of Learning & Training courses developing your skills to excel at your day-to-day tasks. In addition to this, we also arrange Personal & Career Development program preparing you to take on the role as a full-time Associate.

 

This will be a part-time position with 15-20 working hours a week. You will be reporting to a Legal Counsel manager based in Copenhagen.

Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Assist the legal team with various ad hoc legal matters and legal structuring of investments globally
  • Assist with maintaining updated corporate documentation
  • Lead corporate compliance processes under supervision from the legal team
  • Provide insights on local legal regulations in relevant countries
  • Assist with KYC material, signature requirements, notary etc.

 

Your qualification

  • Third year of your bachelor’s degree or have started on your master’s degree in Law or in Business Administration and Commercial Law
  • Experience or knowledge within company law, private equity, commercial law, corporate finance, energy law or alike is a plus
  • Analytical skills
  • Profound interest in company and commercial law
  • Thriving with responsibility and displaying high attention to detail
  • Flexible and able to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Structural and systematic approach to assignments
  • Fluency in English
