Senior Financial Associate - FP&A

We are looking for a skilled Senior Financial Associate to join our dynamic and dedicated Financial Planning & Analysis team in Copenhagen.

The team

As Senior Financial Associate based in Copenhagen, you will join CIP’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, responsible for financial modelling & reporting both investment and fund valuations, supporting investment risk mitigation & optimisation activities and communicating investment financial performance across business functions and to senior management.

The role

You will be responsible for managing FP&A activities across CIP funds, working with corporate and regional teams to develop your financial expertise in a varied portfolio of renewable investments. You will also be actively engaging with investment portfolio teams to become a trusted FP&A business partner, supporting CIPs global investments strategy and participating in performance management and reporting investments on fund level . Furthermore, you will participate in ad hoc analysis on e.g. power markets, hedging strategies, currency swaps and other financial products.

Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering high quality reporting to CIP’s senior management and investors on the funds’ financial performance
  • Preparing and coordinating analysis and communication material for decision making on a senior management level
  • Portfolio monitoring and fund level analysis, including various sensitivity and scenario analysis
  • Maintaining and developing expert understanding of the complex fund models for a number of CIP funds

The candidate

As the ideal candidate, you hold a university degree within economics, finance, accounting or similar combined with 1-3 years of work experience within Financial Analysis or Reporting and where you have gained excellent valuation and other key metric reporting skills from renowned private equity firms, multinational corporates or Big 4 Company.

Furthermore we expect following from the candidate:

  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are being met
  • Ability to keep attention to detail and be accurate under time pressure.
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are key as you will work with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Used to working in an international setting and have advanced language skills in English.
