Associate, SP HoldCo

Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure investment? Then Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the perfect place for you. We are currently looking for an associate to join our SP HoldCo team in Copenhagen.

The Team

The SP HoldCo team currently consists of 9 people (7 full-time and 2 student assistants). Overall, the team focuses on the companies and financials of the current Senior Partners and other Partners at CIP.

The team plays a vital role in terms of supporting the administration of the Senior Partners’ entities. The team is responsible for providing insight on the actual historical financial performance, financial forecast etc. for ~60 entities.

Due to the rapid growth of number of funds and investors globally, we are looking to expand the team further.


The Role

As our new Associate, you will become part of a growing and dynamic team helping in delivering high quality financial forecasting, reporting, investment analyses and much more.

In this role you will work closely with and report to Manager, René Fynshave Sørensen.

In more detail, your tasks are expected to be, but not limited to:

  • Preparing high quality financial forecast reporting and presentations to the senior management, with the opportunity to help establish the future reporting setup
  • Deliver cash flow analysis and forecasting of holding companies of senior management
  • Perform financial modelling, valuation and provide status updates of investments and analysis of investment opportunities.

 

You

We expect you to have a master’s degree in finance, economics, business or similar combined with 2-4 years of relevant experience from a similar role in finance as well as experience with financial modelling and preferably some knowledge about the private equity and renewables sectors.

You will contribute with your expertise, highly structured work ability and efficiency to make sure that you and the team continues to deliver high-quality analyses and reports within stringent deadlines.

Given the structure of ownership across the Senior Partners and their companies, your role will include complex issues that will challenge your competencies and the need for you to acquire new knowledge on an ongoing basis.

We look for the following in a candidate:

  • Quality consciousness
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Determination, structure with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent user of both Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English and preferably also in Danish.
