Transformation Officer, CFO Transformation Office

The team

As part of CIP's growth and the increasing complexity with both new funds, new products and continued internationalization, our CFO Transformation Office oversees a broad range of projects to ensure smooth operations and scalability to support the journey. You will become part of a committed transformation team and report to the Head of CFO transformation office, where you as a Transformation Officer will play an important role in business-critical IT and data projects. You can expect a comprehensive responsibility and a large room for manoeuvring, where you can set your own mark, as well as a high level of exposure to the senior management group.

Given the width of team’s responsibility and projects with different purposes, this position offers you exposure to a myriad of critical functions within private equity and fund management while giving you an opportunity to build a broad network. You will be part of a team of highly skilled and committed colleagues working closely together in a performance-oriented culture, where ideas quickly translate into action. Key Responsibilities 

  • Project management of selected projects particularly IT systems throughout the lifecycle from idea initiation to implementation
  • Act as facilitator and coordinator between project owners in the CFO area, IT and potentially external vendors
  • Drive projects forward, maintain momentum and ensure that the expected change is anchored in the organization
  • Proactively suggest solutions, that enables effective decision making and facilitates implementation in the organization
  • Ensure and facilitate continuous process optimization
  • Support and promote a project execution and change management culture across CIP
  • Support planning of new projects and explore needed actions to get to the end goal

  • Proactive by nature and has the ability to work autonomously
  • Experienced in implementing IT systems and related operational processes
  • Able to understand co-dependencies across the CFO-area – and business in general
  • Works pragmatically and is solution oriented
  • Enjoys variation in the daily work and working in changing environments
  • Enjoys working with complexity and problem solving
  • Provides concrete advise and suggests solutions to enable effective decisions
  • Handles multiple deliveries while ensuring timely completion with high quality
  • Good communicator – both verbally and written as well as creating presentations
  • Establishing positive relations to stakeholders
  • Demonstrate project- and change management skills.

 

The ideal candidate has thorough experience in managing and organizing projects, ideally projects regarding system implementations as well as process optimization, and is able to solve complex problems and deliver sustainable solutions. The candidate is diligent in making sure that projects advance, goals are fulfilled, and gains are materialized.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate has a profound knowledge of strategic communication and change management. You know the importance of clear communication in a business transformation to meet the business expectations and to ensure alignment among all stakeholders. Your skills lie in stakeholder management in transformations where you have an extensive understanding of the stakeholder’s needs and profound interpersonal skills. As a result, you know how to advise internal stakeholders, drive their motivation and create commitment to the change.

 

The role involves a broad scope of responsibilities; we therefore imagine that you have:

  • A relevant academic education – e.g., within Business, Economics, IT, Data Science etc.
  • Ideally 5+ years of relevant experience, e.g., from consulting or a project management role
  • Experience in implementing IT-systems
  • A strategic mindset and comprehensive understanding of operational processes in order to establish a close connection between organizational activities and business objectives
  • Experience with working with senior leadership / management
  • An ambitious mindset with a good work ethic and ‘can-do’ attitude, including high attention to detail, personal maturity and the ability to work autonomously - and sometimes with short deadlines
  • Experience in Change Management.
